If you're reading this, you're probably an NHS patient, or a service user of a local health and wellbeing service and wondering what Joy is and why you've had an email or message from us.

We're a software supplier to health and care providers, like GPs or community service providers. We don’t provide care ourselves and we don’t have direct contact with your doctor, but we develop tools and systems that help them and their team to deliver great care.

What is happening with my data?

In legal terms, Joy is the Data Processor, and your service provider (e.g., GP practice) is the Data Controller. What this means is that Joy doesn't own any of your data and wouldn't pass it on to other companies or use it for other purposes like marketing.

You can view our privacy policy **here.**

Our security page details the accreditations and NHS digital guidelines that we follow, and links to our Data Processing Agreement.
